A former Dunbar High School baseball coach who pleaded guilty in a theft investigation has avoided jail time at his sentencing.
Mickey Marshall was originally indicted on two charges of theft by failure to make required disposition involving funds from the baseball booster club. Marshall admitted to an amended misdemeanor charge.
As long as he follows the sentencing guidelines, Marshall's one-year sentence will be suspended, and he'll be on unsupervised probation for two years.
