Former Kentucky Player Hurt in Crash

Bardstown Police say a former UK Player was seriously hurt when his motorcycle was hit by a driver who was under the influence.

The former tight end remains in serious condition at a Louisville Hospital after Sunday night's crash. Police say Drake, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from his motorcycle around 9:00. It happened after a car made a left turn in front of U.S. 62 in Nelson County. Drake was air-lifted to University of Louisville Hospital with severe head injuries.

Police say the driver, 35-year-old Jennifer Reed, has been charged with first degree assault and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Drake was a tight end at Kentucky from 2006 - 2009.

His former teammates and coaches are sending support on Twitter, Rich Brooks and Jacob Tamme, among others have asked for prayers for T.C.
