Former Scott County High School basketball star Jonathan "Bud" Mackey has been arrested again, this time charged with robbery and other charges.

Mackey was at the Scott County Sheriff's Department Tuesday afternoon to pick up an EPO against him when he was informed that there was an outstanding warrant against him for robbery. Police say that as deputies were taking him back to arrest him, Mackey bolted out the front door. Deputies caught him five minutes later about a block away.

Aside from robbery, Mackey is charged with third-degree assault, criminal mischief and second-degree escape.

Last year entered a guilty plea to criminal attempt and being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun. Mackey was arrested last May by Lexington police after a call about shots fired in the Versailles road area.

In 2007, Mackey lost a scholarship to Indiana when he was arrested for trafficking crack cocaine at his high school. He plead guilty to an amended charge.
