A former Paris High School math teacher has been sentenced to prison after he confessed to possessing and watching child pornography on his home computer.

Kenneth Shadoan will spend seven years in prison, followed by a lifetime supervised release. The 31-year-old plead guilty to three child porn charges in November, admitting to having more than 200 pictures and 30 videos of child porn.

Federal investigators became interested in Shadoan after Paris Police charged him with sharing sexually explicit messages with a former male student.
