A Louisville television station reports a former University of Kentucky football players suffered injuries in a motorcycle accident Sunday night.
Officials say T.C. Drake was riding along Bloomfield Road, near Bardstown, when he crashed. He was airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital. Drake is listed in serious condition, according to WHAS.
Drake played for UK from the 2006 season through 2009. He later signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent. The 6-foot-4, 248 pound tight end played in 49 games at Kentucky. He caught 20 passes for 281 yards and one touchdown.
