It seems for the past week or so, that the violence around Lexington has tapered off. But it apparently hasn't ended altogether. Early Saturday morning former UK quarterback Mike Hartline, and a couple of his friends, had a close call with gunfire.
The three were in a car, headed down East Maxwell, just after midnight when a man jerked his car toward the one Hartline was riding in and then shots rang out from that vehicle. Three shots were fired, according to Hartline. And one came dangerously close to the 23-year old's two buddies, Steven Ramirez and Matthew Meyer.
All three men are ok, but Lexington Police have yet to make an arrest. The men say the shooter was a white male driving an older model maroon mini van.
