Army officials have released the names of the two people found dead in a home on base at Fort Knox Friday morning.

Specialist Christopher Meeks and Krista Meeks died from gunshot wounds at their home.

Investigators believe the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute.

The couple's two children were at home at the time of the shooting.

They're now in foster care waiting for permanent placement.

Specialist Meeks had been assigned to Fort Knox since March 2011.
