FORT KNOX (AP) - A ceremony is set at Fort Knox on Tuesday morning for about 200 soldiers returning from deployment to New York in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.

Fort Knox says the soldiers from 19th Engineer Battalion deployed to New York on Nov. 2 and 3 to help with command and control for water-pumping elements operated by service members from all branches of the military.

The soldiers also provided debris clean-out services. The post says they removed more than 13 million gallons of water and 1,350 tons of debris.

The ceremony is set for 10:30 a.m. EST at Natcher Physical Fitness Center.
