Four more barns burned in Harrison County early Wednesday morning.
This brings the total number of barn and outbuilding fires in Harrison and Nicholas Counties over the last couple of weeks to 11.
Three barns in the western part of the county burned to the ground overnight within a few hours of each other. Firefighters were able to put out the fire and save the fourth.
Paul and Betty Fuller leased a barn on Coppage Pike that was destroyed. Paul Fuller said about $20,000 worth of tobacco was hanging inside, and he was counting on the proceeds to help pay medical bills for his wife's cancer treatment.
Authorities continue to investigate the string of fires. They say it's too early to say whether the four fires Wednesday are linked to the seven earlier blazes.
