A Frankfort firefighter is behind bars, facing one count of voyeurism and one count of child pornography. Dennis Hodge had recently been promoted to Lieutenant with the Frankfort Fire Department.

LEX18's cameras were rolling at 1:00 am when police arrested the 41-year-old Frankfort firefighter at a Lexington motel.

On Monday, Kentucky State Police got a complaint about voyeurism involving a minor. According to arrest documents, Hodge is accused of videotaping a nude minor he knew. State Police got a warrant to search Hodge's house on Old Georgetown Road in Frankfort.

"Seizing a laptop computer, they then worked with the Kentucky State Police Electronics Crime Branch, where they were able to find known child pornography on that computer," says Trooper Ron Turley, with Kentucky State Police.

It was enough to charge the firefighter with one count of possession of child pornography. After days of looking for Hodge, State Police with Lexington Police's help, tracked him down at the Catalina Motel.

"We had received a tip that he was in the Lexington area," says Turley.

Chief Wallace Possich with the Frankfort Fire Department tells LEX18 that Hodge is still an employee of the fire department.

Hodge is being held at the Frankfort County Detention Center on a $12,000 cash bond. Hodge's next court date is set for October 18th.
