Frankfort Police are investigating a home invasion robbery.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday at a home on Belair Drive. David Colston told police he and his girlfriend were in the basement of his house when he heard a loud noise upstairs. When he went to check it out, he said he found two men wearing masks and armed with handguns. Colston said the men demanded money and one of the suspects hit him in the head several times with a gun.

Colston said he believes the suspects slashed his screen door to get inside the house.

One of the suspects is described as a white man, about 25 years old, around 5'8", 180 pounds with short sandy hair and stubbly facial hair with possible acne. He was wearing an orange shirt with black pants. The victim said the man lost two large pierced earrings with diamond type stones during the scuffle. The other suspect is described as a black man, about 25 years old, about 140 pounds and wearing a black shirt with black pants and possibly a ring. The victim said the second suspect was shorter than the first.

Anyone with information is asked to call Frankfort Police at (502) 875-8648.
