Police in Madison County have arrested a teen wanted in the Frankfort robbery of a juvenile last month.
Joshua Stigers, 18, of Frankfort, was apprehended by the Madison County Sheriff's Office on a Franklin County warrant for first-degree robbery. The warrant was issued in connection with the September 29 robbery of a juvenile on Meagher Avenue.
A Frankfort Police Department investigation discovered Facebook communications that indicated Stigers was in Madison County. Officers at that time were able to contact Sgt. Andrea Patterson of the Madison County Sheriff's Office, who assisted with the investigation and took Stigers into custody.
Stigers was held in the Madison County Detention Center. He is also charged with possession of marijuana and receiving stolen property. He will be returned to Frankfort to face the robbery charge.
