The Lexington Division of Waste Management will give away yard waste collected during the past several months and turned into mulch on Saturday, Jan. 14 and the following Saturday, Jan. 21.

The mulch will be available for pick up from 8 a.m. to noon, or until the supply is gone. The mulch will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and one pickup truck load per person.

You can pick up mulch at the former city landfill site, 1631 Old Frankfort Pike. Officials ask you enter through the gates of the former landfill and exit through Jimmie Campbell Drive. There will be signs to guide you to the mulch pick-up area.
