Here's a shot of a station vehicle around 1:00 AM Wednesday morning. If you leave your car parked outside you'll be scraping this morning but it comes off fairly easily. Since we're hovering right around freezing roads are still in pretty good shape... I had no issues on the sidewalks, side streets or on New Circle road on my way to work. Light icing is obvious on the grass & tree limbs so watch for wet & possibly icy roads in Lexington. The heaviest ice accumulation remains southeast (up to 1/2" so far) & roads could be in much worse shape around Jackson & Breathitt county. Areas that have seen higher ice totals also need to be aware of the chance for power line damage from falling limbs.
