Alabama is not afraid of Kentucky. The Tide have won three straight games, including Thursday's comeback from 18 down against South Carolina.

They say they are a different team than when they lost to the Cats at Rupp by 11 points in February.

Coach Cal said he didn't watch the game yesterday. He said he didn't want to get too nervous or too confident, though he said last night he believes a win today will secure a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament.

The Cats practiced for about 40 minutes last night and Cal said he liked the energy, especially from Deandre Liggins who had recently been struggling in that area.

Cal said his team seems to be in the right frame of mind, but with their youth and immaturity at times, he won't know how his team will respond in their first postseason challenge until the ball is tipped.
