Witnesses say they heard what sounded like a rocket going off in the middle of the night in Powell County.

Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company says a leak was found at a compressor station in Clay City.

There was no fire and the flow of natural gas was shut off.

People living in the area were evacuated as a safety precaution, but now they've been given the 'all clear' to go back home.
