Police in Scott County continue to investigate an early morning burglary at a Georgetown pharmacy.
Police say the burglar alarm tripped at the J and L Pharmacy on Broadway around 2 a.m. Monday. Officers arrived on the scene and found two sets of smashed door, a broken shelf and an open door inside. Surveillance video shows a masked male breaking through the glass doors with a rock. Once inside, he scampers between a set of shelves and then runs out of the store. He was inside less than a minute. The owner says he doesn't think the burglar got away with anything.
Police ask anybody with information call 502-863-7820.
This is not the first burglary at J and L Pharmacy. Police say Christopher Tackett kicked a hole through the building's roof. Video cameras capture the burglar dropping from the ceiling back in 2010. The footage shows him running behind the counter, grabbing pills.
Tackett later pleaded not guilty.
