Police in Scott County are on the lookout for a man they say stole hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from a local store.

Georgetown Police say a man stole several cartons of cigarettes at the Shell gas station on Marylynn Drive and then went to the CVS where he tried to steal vodka.

Police say the man is black, possibly driving a Ford or Mercury with with a rear spoiler.
