A jury in Greenup County has found a man guilty in the stabbing his wife to death.

Charles Steven "Steve" Lee was convicted of killing 40-year old Leslie "Crickett" Lanham-Lee back in 2011. Lanham-Lee was found dead in the couple's home.

Shortly before her death, Lanham-Lee was recognized by the state House of Representatives during the reading of a resolution for her efforts to raise funds for child abuse prevention and awareness.

The jury in the case recommended a life sentence for Lee. He will be sentenced on November 8.
