Kentucky's Jerad Grundy has decided to return to Lexington for his Senior year. The southpaw was selected in the 26th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins.

For the third time in his career Grundy has decided to pass on the Pros and return to school. He was selected in the 42nd round in 2011 to the Marlins and in the 46th round out of high school to the Texas Rangers in 2009.

Grundy made 16 weekend starts for UK in 2012, posting a 6-3 record and a 3.78 ERA. The Miami (Fla.) and Heartland CC transfer worked 85.2 innings, allowing 79 hits and walking 36, striking out 63 in 2012.
