People in Louisville turned in their arms for cash at a gun buy back program.
Hundreds lined up before the doors even opened to sell back old firearms.
A total of 249 guns were bought back by police. Once police check the weapons to see if they're connected to any crimes, they will go to a company to be shredded.
Police say they want to hold another buy back program but need to find the money to fund it.
