Two elementary school students were detained by police after officers found two knives and a handgun at a Taylor County school.

Police say they found two fold-out style knives and a 38-caliber handgun in two students' backpacks Friday at Campbellsville Elementary School.

No students were hurt and so far no charges have been filed.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
