The case of a man accused of murdering two adults and a child on the campus of an Eastern Kentucky college has been waived to the Grand Jury.
Dalton Stidham is charged with three counts of murder in connection with the January 15 shootings at Hazard Community and Technical College. Police say he shot Caitlin Cornett, 20, her uncle, Jackie Douglas, 53, and Jackie's 12-year-old daughter, Taylor. According to police and the victims' family, the three were meeting Stidham to exchange custody of their 2-year-old son.
Investigators say Stidham brought the child home before turning himself in to police. They also say Stidham bought the gun he used in the killings just a few hours before the shooting.
