Another scorcher is lined up Thursday afternoon with highs in the upper 90s around 100 (more record breakers), the heat index pushing 100-105, a heat advisory for the Bluegrass & southeast and an excessive heat warning northwest.
Watch for an isolated shower/storm, especially this afternoon but other than that... prepare to broil through the end of the week. Lows tonight will stay in the 70s with another shot at near 100 degree highs Friday and Saturday with isolated shower/storm chances each afternoon. A cold front hangs out there for the end of your weekend bringing the best chance for scattered showers and storms we've seen in a while as well as highs in the 80s next week!
