Heavy rains Wednesday morning caused some flooding in Fleming County.
Several roads were flooded, and at least one resident reported flooding in the basement of their home, Several businesses reported closing for the day because of the flooding.
The area received up to six inches of rain as parts of eastern southeastern Kentucky reported heavy downpours Wednesday.
A lightning strike also damaged the top of the Fleming County Judicial Center.
