Daughter of a United Methodist Minister in the Florida conference and third generation Floridian, Hillary had no idea what she wasgetting herself into when moving to Kentucky for college, but felt at home with Asbury's commitment to academic excellence and spiritual vitality.

Now, as a junior, she has somewhat adapted to the seasons due to the careful guidance of friends. Hillary is majoring in both Media Communications and Journalism and was last year's Features Editor for the student newspaper, The Asbury Collegian. She is a member of the Asbury swim team and has qualified for NAIA nationals the past two years.

Hillary‘s swimming experience is a large reason for her love of the Olympics. After watching the excitement of Beijing - Jason Lezak's unbelievable relay comeback, Usain Bolt's sheer speed, Shawn Johnson's gymnastic success and, of course, Michael Phelps' eight gold medal-winning races - Hillary is thrilled to be in London during the 2012 games.
