Two families lost possessions when a home in Harrison County burned Wednesday evening.
One family was reportedly moving into the house on Snake Lick Road as another was moving out.
"My mom has no clothes except for what we have in the new house. We have nothing except the baskets of clothes we had when we moved out," McKayla Utter said.
Firefighters from Harrison County, Pendleton County and Cynthiana fire departments battled the fire. Firefighters say the blaze apparently started in the back of the house and spread quickly. High winds complicated firefighting efforts.
There were no reported injuries.
Officials say they don't know what caused the fire.
