The victim of a violent home invasion attack Monday returned home from the hospital Tuesday morning to find his home ransacked and items stolen.
Jeff Flannery says two men broke through the front door of his home on Lisa Drive Monday morning, demanding drugs and money. He says they attacked his fiance' and brutally beat him.
"They was trying to zip-tie us together, and I wouldn't let them. They had a gun to my girlfriend's head. All I could think about was getting to her. They were beating me to death with a crowbar."
EMS took Flannery and his fiance' to the hospital. Police say one of the suspects pepper-sprayed the woman.
Flannery was released from the hospital Tuesday and returned home to find his house burglarized. The thieves took his TV, electronics, jewelry and other items from the home.
He says he has no idea why anybody would target him.
Investigators say they don't know if the home invasion and burglary are connected.
