A Lexington homeowner shot at a pair of burglars Tuesday afternoon, and police continue to search for those two suspects.

Police say two men knocked on the door of a home along Colorado Drive in the Hamburg area around 3 p.m. and asked for a man named John. The duo then tried to force their way inside and punched a teenager in the face. The homeowner fired a shot and that sent the men running.

Nobody was seriously hurt in the incident.
