Hot and muggy summer weather continues this week with Monday's highs well above average- around 90 degrees, partly sunny skies and a few afternoon showers & storms. Scattered shower and storm chances really ramp up Tuesday into Tuesday night as a cold front slowly drops across the Commonwealth and stalls out. Like last week our primary concern from these storms will be slow movement resulting in torrential rain & frequent lightning. Expect more clouds and highs in the mid 80s tomorrow as well.
That old cold front lifts north as a warm front Wednesday into Thursday... we'll stay in the mid to eventually upper 80s with a daily chance for afternoon pop up showers and storms more or less the rest of the week.
