HEBRON (AP) - Transportation officials have reopened a stretch of Interstate 275 near the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati International Airport after an oil spill had closed it.
The westbound lanes of the highway were closed Tuesday evening after about 200 gallons of soybean oil spilled from a tanker truck, according to The Kentucky Enquirer. The lanes were reopened Wednesday morning.
The spill affected about 3,000 feet of the westbound lanes near Exit 8. A private contractor was called in to scrub the highway.
