Everybody involved in an accident along I-64 in Bath County Thursday night escaped unhurt, but the wreck left quite a mess spread across the interstate.

Dispatchers say the crash between mile markers 123 and 124 involved two tractor-trailers and a car. One of those trucks was carrying a load of bricks, which ended up scattered all over the road. Police shut down westbound lanes for several hours as crews cleaned up the mess.

Police have reopened all lanes, and traffic is back to normal in the area.
