The mystery surrounding the identity of a motorcycle accident victim is over.

Jackson County Sheriff's deputies say thanks to news reports, her family was able to identify the woman as Patty Butcher of London. She is listed in serious condition at UK Hospital.

Butcher was hurt when she fell off a motorcycle last Thursday night. Police are still searching for the driver of the motorcycle, who left the scene when EMS personnel arrived.
