LOUISVILLE (AP) - A Louisville man is dead after a fire consumed his home.
Firefighters say they were called out to the blaze Sunday afternoon and found 52-year-old Timothy E. Pyle dead at the scene. An autopsy was planned Monday to determine his cause of death, according to deputy Jefferson County coroner R.D. Jones.
Firefighters say they found Pyle, who lived alone, in the hallway.
Fire spokesman Capt. Salvador Melendez told The Courier-Journal that the blaze appeared to have started in the front section of the home. An investigation is ongoing.
