Deputies and police spent Thursday morning rounding up suspected drug traffickers in Laurel County.
Dubbing the operation "Independence from Drug Dealers," Laurel County Sheriff's Office deputies, assisted by London police, Williamsburg police, KSP troopers and Constable Charlie Johnson arrested more than 20 suspects, according to sheriff's office officials. Deputies say suspects face a variety of trafficking and drug possession charges. Officers also seized drugs, money and vehicles during the operation.
Deputies say they will continue to seek suspects with outstanding warrants.
