Police in Indiana have arrested a man that Kentucky State Police say pointed a pistol at another driver in Madison County over the weekend.
The victim says a man, now identified by police as Perrin Dobyns, pointed a weapon at him while on I-75, and possibly even fired it - and it was all caught on camera.
The video, taken by the victim in the incident, was taken Sunday at about 2:45 p.m. on I-75 near mile marker 97. Kentucky State Police say the victim called them after the incident. In the video, you can see a man in a black sedan pulling up, rolling down the window, and pointing the gun at the victim.
State police say Dobyns may have even fired that weapon, but no one was hit.
"Absolutely. Road rage can be a very dangerous situation," said KSP trooper Robert Purdy. What is uncommon in this case is it escalated where someone allegedly fired a pistol."
Dobyns is charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, which is a felony. So far, there is no word on when Dobyns, who lives in Indiana, will be returned to Kentucky.
