An Indiana man died in a Shelby County crash early Monday morning.

Shelby County Sheriff's Office officials say a Toyota Prius crashed into the back of a slower-moving dump truck traveling along eastbound I-64. The Prius went off the road and slammed into a stand of trees. The driver of the Toyota, Brant A. Bloss, of Newburgh, Ind., was declared dead at the scene.

The dump truck driver was not hurt.

Deputies say they do not think drugs or alcohol were a factor in the accident.
