"They are burning the net," says Jay Bilas who is doing the UK-East Tennessee State game.
The Cats are putting on a clinic winning 54-26 after 20 minutes.
At one point, Patrick Patterson had 11 while East Tenn. St. had 10. The score as 21-10 at the time.
Patterson couldn't miss. Patterson is tied with Bledsoe with 15 points. Patterson was 6 for 6 from the field and 3 of 4 from the free throw line.
Bledsoe's stoke looks great, and he isn't missing much. 4 of 5 from downtown, plus three steals.
The Cats who quickly jumped out 23-10 thanks in part to some slick passing by John Wall. The great freshman had 7 assists and 6 points in the first half.
"That is a one man fast break," says Bilas.
The former Duke star sounded like Wall's agent.
"He was born to play basketball."
"He advances the ball better than anyone in the country."
"You will not find anyone faster with the ball end to end."
Daniel Orton was terrific. He is looking to score. The 6-foot-10 inch backup has 8 points and 7 rebounds.
UK is shooting 59%. East Tenn. St. 37%.
And, on the boards, the Cats lead 23-13.
Former Cat Jonathan Davis, who joins me on out Wildcat Warehouse internet shows just reminded me that he picked the Cats by 40.
