John Wall's 9 steals ties a franchise record. Not a bad opening night at home. Throw in his 13 assists and 29 points and yes 8 turnovers, it was a great performance by the former UK superstar.

With Washington beating Philadelphia 116-115 in overtime, we thought you might want to check out the highlights.

After Washington won and the Wizard fans are going crazy, Wall acted like the same person he was when he played at UK.

"Too many turnovers," says the NBA's newest star. "I can't turn the ball over that many times in a game."

There were many times after a UK win where John would point out what he didn't do, instead of what he did.

In the third quarter, Wall had eight points, six steals and a breakaway left handed dunk.
