Josh Breslow joined the LEX 18 News team in December 2010 as a reporter.
Josh comes to Lexington from WTVW in Evansville, Indiana, where he worked for close to two years as a news reporter and weather anchor. He graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a certificate in Meteorology.
While in college, Josh worked as Chief Forecaster and Reporter at WUFT in Gainesville, Florida and as an anchor, producer, and reporter at WRUF. He was honored with an Edward R. Murrow Award and a Society of Professional Journalists Award, both for anchoring and producing a newscast.
Josh knew he had a passion for news when he was asked to anchor the morning announcements in high school. While it didn't quite consist of any vital information, he made sure those Cooking Club students knew exactly where they needed to meet.
In his spare time, Josh enjoys listening to music (and attempting to sing along), hanging out with friends, and watching trashy reality TV (as long as it airs on VH1 and includes the phrase, "of Love.")
Josh looks forward to learning more about the Bluegrass State and becoming a part of the Lexington community.
