The president of the Kentucky Medical Association has died in an accident in Hawaii, now a replacement has been named.

According to SurfKy.com, Doctor Uday Dave died in November while on a trip to Hawaii for a medical convention.

The details surrounding the accident are not known.

Doctor Dave practiced at Baptist Health Medical Associates.

Doctor William Harrison will now take over as president of KMA.
