LEX 18 has learned authorities in North Dakota have charged a Kentucky National Guard member with two counts of manslaughter in connection with the deaths of two other guardsmen.

Ronald Forsyth, 31, of Kenton County and 23-year-old Jason Burnette of Clay County died Thursday. The crash, involving a non-military vehicle, happened in North Dakota not far from Camp Grafton, where the four men in the car were spending two weeks in training.

Police say they have now charged 23-year-old Christopher Brandt, who they say was driving the vehicle at a high rate of speed, in the deadly wreck.

David Duncan, 23, the other passenger in the car was treated at a local hospital. He has since been released.
