Officials have revised the crest estimate for the Kentucky River at Lock No. 4 in Frankfort upward.
Officials originally predicted the river would crest Monday at 32.6 feet, which is a foot above flood stage. The Director of Emergency Management now believes the river will crest Tuesday at 38.1 feet.
Crews have already put up several sections of the flood wall around Frankfort. They may put up the remaining sections during the day Monday as conditions dictate.
