WHEATCROFT (AP) - Kentucky State Police say they are seeking a suspect in the slaying of a western Kentucky woman who was killed with a high-powered rifle.

Police say they have obtained a warrant for the arrest of Billy C. Utley in the death Tuesday of his estranged wife, Theresa A. Utley. State police say they were called to the scene in Wheatcroft by the Webster County Sheriff's Department and found Theresa Utley dead inside a vehicle.

Police say Billy Utley is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on Utley's whereabouts is asked to call police at 270-676-3313 or 800-222-5555.
