It didn't take long for Happy Osborne to return to the college level.
Kentucky Wesleyan's Athletics Director, Dave Williams tweeted the following message at approximately 5:45 pm on Sunday evening:
"Congratulations Coach Happy Osborn on becoming the 22nd head men's basketball coach in #kwc history. Meet him Press Conference 315 Monday."
After just one season at Montgomery County High School, Osborne will now be the head coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Osborne led the Indians (33-5) to the Boys' Sweet 16 Tournament semifinals in his only season.
Prior to his time at Montgomery County, Osborne spent a season at Tennessee Tech as an assistant and 31 years at Georgetown College (15 years as head coach).
Osborne had a record of 456-81 as head coach and led the Tigers to the NAIA National Championship in 1998.
