Knox County Child Dies After Being Shot

Police in Knox County are investigating after a teenage boy cleaning a shotgun accidentally shot and killed his younger sister Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 1:30 p.m. at a home on Valentine Branch Road. So far, police are not released man details, but neighbors told an LEX 18 crew that the girl, whose age and identity have not been released, was shot with a 12-gauge shotgun.
