LOUISVILLE (AP) - Healthy women in the Louisville area will have a chance to participate in the Susan G. Komen for the Cure's fight against breast cancer this week.
The Komen Tissue Bank at Indiana University Simon Cancer Center is holding its first tissue donation event outside of Indiana, on Saturday at Norton Cancer Institute in Louisville.
Norton says the Komen Tissue Bank was created to provide scientists a chance to compare healthy breast tissue with cancerous tissue.
To register, visit www.komentissuebank.iu.edu or contact Liz Way at (317) 274-4051 or at email@example.com. Appointments begin at 8 a.m. EDT, and donors must have a confirmed appointment time.
