KYTC District 5 Road Conditions Update

Bullitt, Franklin, Henry, Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble

Precipitation has ended over most of our District 5 counties. Trimble County is still reporting a light snow/sleet mix. Roads are in good shape for travel, but there are still some of the secondary roads that have icy slush. Crews are also dealing with down trees and some areas of high water.

In Bullitt County we have two roads closed due to downed trees, KY 1442 (Ridge Road) and KY 1494 (Beech Grove Road). In Franklin County, we have two roads with high water, KY 1784 (Old Glenns Creek Road) and KY 1900 (Peaks Mill Road).

Road conditions by county as of 10 AM:

Bullitt - crews have completed snow/ice removal

Franklin - crews have completed snow/ice removal

Henry - partly covered secondary roads, crews salting and plowing

Jefferson - wet pavement, crews spot treating

Oldham - wet pavement, crews monitoring

Shelby - partly covered secondary roads, crews salting and plowing
