Police in Lexington responded to a large disorder in the Douglas Park area Sunday evening. Officials say the Super Sunday basketball tournament got out of control around 9:30 p.m.

According to police, a large fight broke out leading to several smaller fights. Officers could be seen blocking off Georgetown Street between Douglas and Price for about an hour after trying to get hundreds of people in the area to leave. One witness reported hearing gunfire, but officers say that was likely just fireworks.

Police say no arrests were made.
