A Laurel County man was arrested arrested after police say he received stolen property from the theft of military equipment at the National Guard Armory In London.
On Wednesday, September 19, State Police arrested Christopher L. Bunch, 32, of Corbin, on the charge of Receiving Stolen Property under $10,000.
The charge is the result of a two-month investigation into the theft of military equipment from the local National Guard Armory in London, KY. State Police have recovered several of items that were reported missing.
Bunch was held in the Laurel County Correctional Facility.
Bunch is a National Guardsman who works in the supply department. He allegedly stole equipment, scopes, binoculars, clothing, and MREs.
The National Guard did an inventory audit, discovered the items were missing, realized they had been stolen, and turned the case over to KSP.
